We designed and built a robot car from scratch, which could travel a target distance using a chemically controlled Iodine Clock Reaction.
Chemically Controlled Car (AICHE Chem-E-Car 2017)
Problem Description
We had to build a robot car from scratch with the aim of traversing a predetermined distance using a chemically controlled timed reaction.
I Designed and prototyped 3D printed enclosures, chemical delivery mechanism and
heat sinks for Vanadium Redox Battery used in the car using SolidWorks
I developed algorithms and software using Arduino for interfacing with the chemically
controlled stopping mechanism deployed on the car
This is the team video demonstrating the preparation for the competition.
